GENERAL

MARKETPLACE Wisconsin will take place Dec. 5-7, 2023.

Dec. 5th – VIRTUAL: The Contracting Academy (TCA) will take place virtually from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. to continue developing the knowledge and expertise needed to succeed in the government and corporate contracting markets. Registrants will receive additional information regarding schedule, log-in, etc. upon registering.

Dec. 6-7th – IN-PERSON: Join at the Baird Center located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Dec. 6th will kick-off with educational sessions from 2 p.m. – 4:45 p.m. followed by a networking reception from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Dec. 7th will include a breakfast general session, expo hall (Exhibitors & Buyers’ Meetings), educational sessions and awards luncheon. With over 100 exhibitors and more than 40 buyers, attendees will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one and network.

MARKETPLACE is for established businesses interested in entering, growing or developing sales opportunities with Local, State, Federal Government or Corporations. Marketplace also provides the opportunity to network, develop new business connections and reconnect with Wisconsin’s small and diverse business community and resources. Businesses looking to grow are welcome to attend to network, attend educational sessions, and connect with resource partners.

The deadline for registration is Dec. 1 before 11:59 p.m.

WEDC will continue to monitor and update safety precautions for conference attendees. We will follow national, state, and local public health guidelines.

The conference includes all days, however you can select which components you’d like to attend. It is important to only select the events you plan to attend to help with catering accuracy.

We anticipate anywhere between 500 and 800 people.

The dress code at our events is business casual for all participants. Meeting rooms can get chilly, so we recommend layers for your comfort.

If you have special needs and/or dietary restrictions, please do let us know when registering.

The Hilton Milwaukee City Center has a large, covered parking ramp. Guests staying overnight will receive a discounted parking rate of $18. Parking is also available at the Hilton for those just attending the event for the day at a discounted rate of $10.  Pick up your reduced parking ticket at the registration area. This ticket will be used when exiting the parking structure.

Yes. You can learn more about how to reserve a room on the hotel webpage. Because we reserve rooms in bulk, room rates are typically lower than any other hotels in the area.

REGISTRATION

Attendees can register here. Buyers register separately and will be directed to WPI’s registration site. MARKETPLACE accepts all major credit cards.

All conference registration costs will be listed on the registration page of the Conference website.

Registration will open the second week in September for both in-person and virtual components.

You will receive a name badge, conference bag and agenda when you arrive on site. With your name badge, you have access to attend all sessions including, the Networking Reception, General Breakfast Session, Expo Hall, Educational sessions and the Awards Luncheon.

MARKETPLACE will provide a plated breakfast, a snack break and plated lunch. The Networking Reception includes light fare and cash bar.

The Contracting Academy sessions will focus on developing the knowledge and expertise needed to succeed in the government and corporate contracting markets. More information will be available on the website closer to the event. Registrants will receive additional information regarding schedule, log-in, etc. upon registering.

In-person attendees can and are encouraged to attend the sessions selected for the virtual component. Please select your preferences while registering.

Requests for refunds will be honored, less a $20 processing fee, if received in writing by November 24, 2023. No refunds will be made after November 24, 2023. To cancel your registration, contact info@marketplace.com . Registrations can be transferred.

All attendees are invited to attend the Networking Reception. Attendance is included in your registration.
